Club Folláine na bPáistí

Áislann Rann na Feirste is looking to establish ‘Croí Isteach’ an after-school & breakfast club in 2026. Before we begin this larger project, we would like to start a three-day after-school club which will provide arts and wellbeing classes for local children.

In this three-day project, ‘Club Folláine na bPáistí’, we want to use our strengths (language, culture, arts, sports, etc.) to establish a wellness project, which will create positive experiences and attitudes for the children. We plan to measure the wellness outcomes of our work, and we hope to make a strong case to attract funding for an ongoing service.

The first ten weeks of this project are funded by the National Lottery/HSE as well as MPTIT, running as a pilot scheme where you are not obliged to pay if you are unable to. However, we aim to make the project self-sustainable while also fundraising for the larger ‘Croí Isteach’ child care project. We are therefore accepting donations that will reflect the guideline prices that will likely apply after the initial ten-week pilot phase ends.

A suggested price will be displayed when selecting the number of children and number of days, roughly based on a guideline of €7 per child per day and €20 per child per week (3 days).

(Parents: Instead of making a donation, perhaps you would like to volunteer to help us with supervision occasionally? Contact the office if interested.)
